Written by Jimmy Rankin and first performed by The Rankin Family on their album “Fare Thee Well Love.” One of my earliest musical memories is driving around the Comox Valley with my mother listening to this CD. This recording is dedicated to that memory, and to the memories of Raylene and John Morris Rankin, icons of Canadian folk music.
